Bruny Island is a beautiful place, a short half an hour ferry ride from Kettering. The queue to load the car on the ferry is quite long and sometimes have to wait for the next available one but it’s worth it. The ferry company doesn’t take bookings. It’s on first come first serve basis.

Bruny Island Cheese and Beer Co
It’s not the best bang for the buck kind of place but the food is decent. Two people could share a platter and have a drink each for over $50.
These jumbo oysters were absolutely massive. Twice the size of normal oysters. They were something like$24 or $28 but very satisfying.
Time to go home
If you are short on time, you could make a short itinerary including Adventure Bay and The Neck Look Out. If you feel like it, stuff your self with fresh oysters. Get Shucked oyster bar is not far from the ferry terminal.
